Daisy Ridley is the right actress to lead the franchise forward
It was announced that the actress known for playing Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Daisy Ridley, will be a part of the next trilogy of films. Her role is set to play the same that Alec Guinness portrayed in the original trilogy as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ridley was only 22 when she was announced to star in the sequel trilogy and has had an impressive career thus far. She is the perfect choice to return and be the anchor for the upcoming slate of films.
In The Force Awakens, she worked with Harrison Ford throughout the film. Ford, returning as Han Solo, was a strong mentor to the Rey character in the movie. Now, with her own stand-alone movie and then the three to follow, it would make sense for the actress to follow in Ford's footsteps in the upcoming movies.
