“It wasn’t like small talk”: Steve Carell’s Final Scene in The Office With Jenna Fischer Made His Exit Even Sadder

The Office might be one of the funniest shows ever but it sure had its heartwarming and emotional moments as well. Whether it was the team singing Michael Scott (Steve Carell) his farewell song or Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) crying over his girl on the stairs, the sitcom certainly brought tears to eyes numerous times.

When discussing emotional moments from the show, it is basically a crime to leave out the final moment between Michael and Pam (Jenna Fischer). As the boss makes it his duty to say goodbye to each of the employees personally, the viewers bite their nails in anticipation as Pam is nowhere to be found. When they do meet at the end, their conversation remains a mystery due to Michael not being mic’d up. A few years ago, Steve Carell finally revealed what they actually talked about.
