Dennis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s beloved sci-fi classic, Dune, is something truly remarkable, as the numbers and the reviews confirm. Both critics and fans have praised the two films that have been released thus far, praising the world that the Canadian director has managed to create.

A third movie, Dune: Messiah, is currently being worked on, and while we’re waiting for that, we’ll get to enjoy a prequel series set in the same universe.

Dune: Prohpecy finally premiered on November 17, 2024, and the series is set to explore the world of Villeneuve’s films many years before the current timeline, showing us how – more or less – the same issues are constantly plaguing that same universe.
