‘Wicked’ Mattel Dolls Shocks With Adult Entertainment Link
In a recent promotion for the upcoming Wicked film, Mattel has released a series of dolls based on the characters. However, fans soon noticed an issue with the dolls’ packaging. Many have turned to social media to warn others about the issue.
The Dolls Are Based On Characters Straight Out Of Oz
Wicked is a revisionist take on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, detailing the early life of the Wicked Witch of the West, dubbed “Elphaba” in the story. Originating as a book by author Gregory Maguire, his take on the witches of Oz soon inspired a successful Broadway show.
This musical, in turn, inspired the upcoming film, which will be released November 22. To promote the movie, Mattel has released a line of doll resembling the characters, to the delight of both doll collectors and Wicked fans.
