Optimum expands channel options with new pay TV packages

Optimum is launching two new pay television packages that allow subscribers to access a wealth of entertainment, news and sports channels at varied price points.
The packages, called “Extra TV” and “Everything TV,” build on the budget-conscious “Entertainment TV” package that Optimum introduced earlier this year, which offers more than 80 entertainment, lifestyle and knowledge-based networks like A&e, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and Paramount Network for $30 per month.
Starting November 4, Optimum customers will be able to choose from the two new options, which include all the channels offered in the Entertainment TV package with dozens more.
Extra TV will cost $85 per month, and includes access to local broadcast channels affiliated with ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, along with networks like Disney Channel, ESPN, Fox News Channel, USA Network and Bravo.
