Beating all odds Takashi Yamazaki’s Godzilla Minus One became the first ever film in the franchise to win an Academy Award. The talented filmmaker not only looked after the direction of the film but also handled the writing and visual effects.

After causing much chaos at the Oscars, fans are now excited for the movie’s sequel which will reportedly be directed by Yamazaki again. However, this time a familiar face should lead the Kaiju film, and it’s none other than Hiroyuki Sanada. Instead of the Westernization of the movie, fans deserve an authentic but talented cast and the Shōgun actor is the perfect choice.
