Helen Mirren made an unexpected comment about the loss of Kurt Cobain.

If you were unaware, the Nirvana singer passed away at the age of 27 in 1994.

During a recent interview, she said that it was “sad” that Kurt missed a big technological advance with his early passing.

“I always say, it’s so sad that Kurt Cobain died when he did, because he never saw Gps,” she told The Standard. “Gps is the most wonderful thing, to watch my little blue spot walking down the street. I just find it completely magical and unbelievable.”
