Alex Winter’s Adulthood Acquired by Republic Pictures

Republic Pictures has acquired Adulthood, directed by Alex Winter and written by novelist Michael M.B. Galvin.
Adulthood is a darkly comic, modern-noir story about sister and brother Megan and Noah, who barely hang on in present-day America. When they discover a dead body, long buried in their parents’ basement, the siblings are pulled back to the hometown they ran away from and into a rabbit hole of crime and murder.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Republic Pictures for the North American sales and release of our film,” said Alex Winter. “They have great instincts and are dedicated to quality Indie movies.”
The Adulthood cast includes Josh Gad (Gutenberg! The Musical!), Kaya Scodelario (The Gentlemen), Billie Lourd (Booksmart), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), and Alex Winter (Bill & Ted Face the Music).
