Dancing With the Stars "Dedication Night": Who was eliminated in week 5?
Dancing With the Stars had an incredible evening of dances dedicated to someone special in the lives of the celebrity performers. Plus, a very special dance brought the entire audience to their feet, including those at home who were moved by the story behind this special moment.
For this week of performances, the celebrities danced to music as they did routines that were dedicated to someone special, whether be a parent, child, or coach. Even Taylor Swift got a special performance dedicated to her by The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran.
Every performance was so impactful and was such a joy to watch. At one point when judging Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkoviskiy’s performance, Derek Hough made a point of breaking the ‘5’ paddle to show Phaedra she was worth more than a 5. This was a subtle nod towards guest judge Gene Simmons scoring her way lower than necessary the previous week.
