The ending of Pachinko season 2 finally gives us an explanation as to why Noa isn’t around in Sunja’s life in the 80s timeline. The final episode is terribly sad and focuses on identity, not only for Noa but for everybody on the show. Pachinko is not only a multi-generational tale; it’s specifically generational trauma.
