The Dark Knight Trilogy Director Christopher Nolan's Next Film Sets 2026 Release; Matt Damon In Talks To Star
Following the massive success of his recent biopic, Oppenheimer, The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan is staying at Universal for his next project, which has now officially set a July 17, 2026 release date.
Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but Matt Damon - who previously worked with Nolan on Oppenheimer and Interstellar - is reportedly in talks to play the lead role.
The studio is being incredibly secretive about this untitled film, and the trades can't even get a straight answer about which genre it falls into.
