This date carries a lot of meaning behind it, especially for Edward and Alphonse, who are known in the anime world as the Elric brothers and play the role of protagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist narrative.

Fullmetal Alchemist tells the story of a world where both Edward and Alphonse lost their mother due to sickness and decided to bring her back using alchemy.
