After the events of WandaVision, Scarlet Witch's MCU journey took a dark turn thanks to the Darkhold, which corrupted Wanda Maximoff's mind and led her to Earth-838 in search of her children. Meanwhile, the Iluminati ignored Doctor Strange's pleads and underestimated Wanda's power. As a result, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featured some of the most brutal deaths in all of the MCU so far.
