‘Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil’ Musical Announces 2025 Broadway Debut
Exclusive: The musical adaptation of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, John Berendt’s bestselling nonfiction tale of murder and moss-covered secrets in Savannah, Ga, will debut on Broadway in 2025 following an extended premiere run in Chicago, producers announced today.
Written by Taylor Mac, with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, choreography by Tanya Birl-Torres (How I Learned What I Learned) and direction by Rob Ashford (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Midnight is set in Savannah, where the eccentric Southern charm and polite smiles hide secrets and mysteries, the latest involving wealthy antiques dealer and accused murderer Jim Williams.
