Franky is one of Luffy’s trusted Straw Hat members in One Piece and has made major contributions to every arc since he was introduced in the Water 7 saga. Born as Cutty Flam, he is originally from South Blue. Eiichiro Oda had also revealed that he was abandoned as a ten-year-old. He eventually made his way to Water 7.

The rest of the story is as clear as day, with Franky being introduced as a minor antagonist before helping the Straw Hats and later joining their crew. He eventually became the eighth member of the crew as well as their official shipwright.
