Sam Richardson Joins Ensemble Of Romain Gavras-Directed Pic ‘Sacrifice’
Exclusive: Sam Richardson is set to join the cast of the thriller Sacrifice, a film that will be directed by Romain Gavras. Richardson joins an A-list ensemble that includes Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy and Salma Hayek Pinault. Gavras co-wrote the script with Will Arbery.
The story is set at a high-end charity gala that is raided by a violent group of radicals on a mystical quest to fulfill a prophecy. Iconoclast and Robert Walak, the president of Iconoclast’s Film and TV division, will produce with Gavras. Taylor-Joy and Evans also produce, with Arbery executive producer.
The Emmy-winning Richardson was recently seen starring in the second season of Apple’s The Afterparty. Other recent credits include The Tomorrow War and Veep.
He is repped by UTA, Artists First and Jackoway Austen Tyerman Wertheimer Mandelbaum Morris Bernstein Trattner Auerbach Hynick Jaime LeVine Sample & Klein.
