Tim Fehlbaums „September 5“ gilt nach den drei großen Herbstfestivals als einer der am höchsten gehandelten Filme für das Oscarrennen. Nun meldet Hollywood Reporter, dass der Film in den USA noch in diesem Jahr doch von Paramount in die Kinos gebracht wird, nachdem zwischenzeitlich offen gewesen war, wer der Verleih sein würde.

„September 5“ wird nun doch von Paramount Pictures in den USA in die Kinos gebracht. Zunächst in ausgewählten Kinos ab 27. November, amerikaweit dann im Dezember. Somit qualifiziert sich Tim Fehlbaums Film, den er mit Moritz Binder geschrieben hat, doch noch offiziell für die Oscarseason, nachdem der Buzz um den spektakulär effektiven Thriller (Kamera: Markus Förderer; Schnitt: Hansjörg Weißbrich) seit seiner Weltpremiere in Venedig und vor allem seiner US-Premiere in Telluride anhält.
