Before his passing late last year, Andre Braugher cemented his legacy as one of the most iconic actors with his performance as Captain Raymond Holt in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. However, despite delivering one of the most effortlessly hilarious performances in a sitcom, Braugher never won an Emmy Award for his role in the series.

In that regard, Braugher’s performance, especially its impact on the show’s success is comparable to Neil Patrick Harris’ brilliant performance as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother.
