Jorge Ramos is saying goodbye to Univision‘s evening news program after nearly 40 years on the air.

The 66-year-old journalist and writer will remain at the network through the presidential election and leave some time in December, via Variety.

“This is not a farewell. I will continue anchoring Noticiero Univision until December, and afterwards I will share my professional plan,” he said in a note to coworkers on Monday (September 9).
