Slash Releases Hollywood Horror Nights Album
Slash has been creating music for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights “Universal Monsters” haunted house for the past six years, and now the legendary guitarist has released those compositions as an 11-song soundtrack.
The limited edition vinyl, titled Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, is being sold onsite at Universal Studios Hollywood from September 5th through November 3rd, with 300 of the copies hand-signed by Slash. A run of 100 were made available via the Deko Entertainment online shop, but immediately sold out.
“As a longtime fan of horror movies and of ‘Halloween Horror Nights,’ I jumped at the chance to once again collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood to produce a soundtrack for the Universal Monsters haunted house,” stated Slash. “Similar to the way music affects a film, I composed this score for the legions of infamous characters in these haunted houses to elicit a sense of emotional terror.”
