Donald Trump Was Actually Applauded By Conan O'Brien's Audience For Going Against NBC Rules For The Apprentice Finale
Trump was once a welcome guest on late night shows like Conan, showing a different side of himself. Donald Trump fought against NBC to shorten The Apprentice finale, earning applause from fans. Despite his political endeavors, Trump still harbors a desire to return to reality TV for fame.
Nowadays, interviews featuring Donald Trump on actual network talk shows are few and far between. In truth, given everything that has taken place, we're not going to see Trump on any TV talk show for quite some time. It was a different reality years ago, however. Particularly during the early 2000s, Trump was a recurring guest alongside the likes of David Letterman and Conan O'Brien. The interviews were also particularly entertaining, and Trump didn't mind getting trolled by the late-night hosts during their conversations.
Looking back at an interview with Conan in 2005, it seems to be a completely different version of Trump.
