Earlier this year, Xbox ported its four first-party games to PlayStation and Nintendo including Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush. Although there was a lot of talk about this that it may not be a great move for Xbox, it now seems like the decision has been paying off.
The games have got a brand-new audience and it is benefitting both the brands. Rare’s pirate-adventure title Sea of Thieves has sold really well on the PlayStation 5 and this could mean that more Xbox exclusives may come to the platform in future.
Sea of Thieves Has Reportedly Sold Over 1 Million Copies on PS5
Sea of Thieves has been a successful title for Xbox, garnering a large number of players since launch. After the game came to PlayStation 5 on April 30th this year, it topped the most-downloaded game chart on PS5 in May from the PlayStation Store in the US/Canada and EU region.
