Lara Croft returns in the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft, due on Netflix in October. Here’s the first trailer:

We seem to be in the midst of a pretty fertile spell for Tomb Raider fans. After much conjecture, Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Tomb Raider series has been officially green-lit at Amazon Studios. That project is slated to go before cameras early next year so in the next few months, we’re hoping to hear who will be filling the boots of Lara Croft, the intrepid adventurer and iconic star of the Tomb Raider franchise.

On the video game front, fans certainly seemed to enjoy the recent remaster of the original three games featuring the ‘classic’ iteration of the character, while we know that Crystal Dynamics is working on a new game.
