Cosplayer Amanda Lynne shows just why Star Wars canon should bring back Mara Jade. Mara Jade's impactful history with Emperor Palpatine and Luke Skywalker could easily fit into Star Wars canon. Could she even fit into The Mandalorian era?
Mara Jade has yet to make an onscreen appearance in live-action Star Wars, but one cosplay is making a pretty great case for her debut. In Star Wars Legends, Mara Jade is not only Lukes wife, but a formidable Force-user herself with a fascinating backstory with Emperor Palpatine himself. Though she only exists in the now non-canon Legends, Mara Jade has made an incredible impact in the franchise, and she continues to be a fan-favorite character.
