Letonia se convierte en el tercer país en anunciar su representante para la categoría de Mejor Película Internacional en los Oscar 2025. Se trata de la película de animación 3D sin diálogos Flow, dirigida por Gints Zilbalodis, que tuvo su estreno en Cannes y Annecy, y también pasará por TIFF.
Flow se ambienta en las secuelas de una terrible inundación que asola el mundo y sigue a un gato obstinadamente independiente que se ve obligado a compartir un barco con un grupo de otros animales. Llevarse bien con ellos resulta ser un reto aún mayor que sobrevivir a la inundación.
