‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’: Selena Gomez & David Henrie Are Magical Mentors In First Look At New Series
After more than 12 years, its nearly time for the Russo family to make their way back to the small screen.
Audiences were treated to a first look at Wizards Beyond Waverly Place during Friday night’s Disney Channel premiere of Descendants: The Rise of Red. The 2-minute video, which you can watch above, gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the upcoming sequel series.
The video shows off David Henrie and Selena Gomez back on set as Justin and Alex Russo, as well as newcomers Janice LeAnn Brown (as Billie), Alkaio Thiele (as Roman Russo), Max Matenko (as Milo Russo), Taylor Cora (as Winter) and Mimi Gianopulos (as Giada Russo).
As of now, Gomez is only expected to guest star in the first episode. Henrie and the rest of the cast will star.
