Bandai Namco’s Q1 Financial Results Reveal Record Revenue Growth For One Piece While Gundam Retains Top Spot

Bandai Namco Holdings released its first-quarter financial results on Aug 8, 2024, revealing a breakdown of sales for each of its intellectual property (IP).
Among the IPs, One Piece saw the most significant growth, while the Gundam series continued to hold its position as the company’s top revenue generator.
The One Piece IP saw a remarkable 33.2% year-on-year increase in revenue to 33.3 billion yen, marking a new record high. The growth in revenue for One Piece was largely driven by the success of its games, mobile applications, and trading card game.
