The 2024 Korean science fiction drama film Wonderland has now been released to global audiences on Netflix after it struggled to bring the intended business to South Korean markets. Set sometime in the near future, the film’s world has a unique concept named Wonderland, in which dead people and those in a comatose state are basically given a chance to live a fresh new life, although they are restricted to one specific area and can never leave that space. But the technology is mostly used for a different purpose, for those living in Wonderland are able to talk to their living family members over video calls. Overall, Wonderland is quite an entertaining film to watch, with the various possibilities of such technology being dealt with in an interesting fashion.
