Peacock has released a full trailer for its forthcoming limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist that puts the spotlight on both its A-list cast and the style of the time — 1970 — when it takes place.

The series is based on a true story (or “some sh*t that really happened,” as the trailer puts it) about an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s 1970 comeback fight in Atlanta. It will also tell the story of how Atlanta became the “Black Mecca” of the United States.

Peacock ordered the series in December 2023; it’s based on an iHeart podcast written by Jeff Keating (who also hosted) and Jim Roberts.
