Greed combined with ambition and garnished with ruthless pragmatism can make an individual go to any extent, and the narrative of Mirzapur is proof of that fact. There came a point when, as a viewer, I felt fatigued, and I felt that the characters should just give up on their quest. Seeing Guddu transform into a beast, whom even he couldn’t recognize, seeing Golu go through such pain to deal with the loss of her father, and seeing Sharad’s dream shatter right in front of his eyes when he thought that the universe was working in his favor, just made me think that the characters had had enough and would want to move away from the chaos and live their rest of their lives in peace.
