Outgoing X-Men senior editor Jordan D. White reveals Havok was meant to remain a zombie in future comics. Havok was kileld in X-Men Dark and resurrected by Madelyne Pryor as the living dead, with White intending to keep him as a zombie in ongoing stories. However, as X-Men enters a new era, these plans have been abandoned, and Havok will instead become a government agent in new X-Factor series.

In a surprise reveal, the X-Men franchise's outgoing senior editor Jordan D. White has revealed plans to permanently kill Cyclops' brother Alex Summers, aka Havok. The plans wouldn't have just killed off the character however - he would have become an undead zombie, permanently continuing on in Marvel lore as one of the living dead.
