Local Now, Weather Channel en Español added to Amazon’s Fire TV Channels

Amazon’s free streaming TV platform Fire TV Channels is adding dozens of fact-first content streams from Allen Media Group.
Starting today, Fire TV Channels users can find nearly two dozen local news streams from Allen Media-owned broadcasters across the country, representing digital news organizations in California, Oregon, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, Hawaii, Arizona and other states.
The channels are part of the Local Now service, whose content streams are being natively integrated into Fire TV Channels, making them instantly available to anyone who uses a modern Amazon Fire TV device, including Fire TV Sticks and Fire TV Cube.
Additionally, Fire TV Channels will add The Weather Channel en Español, a free, ad-supported streaming television (Fast) variant of the flagship Weather Channel, which Allen Media owns.
