Destiny 2: How to Use The Checkpoint Bot
Checkpoints are easily lost in Destiny 2, but managing to use a Checkpoint Bot can give Guardians a way to skip content to farm loot easily during missions. Certain encounters, like boss fights, can be exploited using the Rally Flags you can place during certain sections of a mission. These allow defeated Guardians to rejoin the fight, but a Checkpoint Bot can be used to skip or restart various activities.
The game places a Rally Flag for you before important fights or activities during a mission, allowing you to return to your Fireteam even if you are defeated. Checkpoint Bots set up something similar, giving Guardians a chance to join a team if they can follow a tracker.
