In separate Instagram posts, Voigt and Srivastava cited mental health concerns and a misalignment of personal values with the parent organization as the reasons behind their decisions.
Voigt became the first Venezuelan American woman to win the Miss USA title in September 2023. The 24-year-old, who had been scheduled to compete in the future Miss Universe pageant, stated that making decisions that align with one’s well-being is crucial.
