Justine Triet Thanks Star Sandra Hüller For “Creating A Complex Woman” As ‘Anatomy Of A Fall’ Wins Golden Globe For Best Non-English Language Film

Justine Triet gave an emotional thank you to her cast and said that with Anatomy Of A Fall she’d tried to show how truly hard it is to capture truth.
“This movie is about the truth. The impossibility of capturing it. It’s construction,” said the helmer accepting the award for the Cannes Palme d’Or-winner — only minutes after the film won for Best Screenplay.
Anatomy of A Fall, from Neon, stars Sandra Hüller as a writer living with her husband and visually impaired son in a remote mountain town in France. When her husband is found dead outside their home an inquiry becomes a murder investigation and Sandra is indicted – the main evidence against apparently being the complexity of her marriage, which is piercingly dissected at trial.
