Get ready to push, puush, puuush because FX’s “American Horror Story” is giving birth to its 12th installment, subtitled “Delicate.” As usual, the cast of “AHS” Season 12 features a mix of new actors and franchise vets. The story is set in the present day and is based on Danielle Valentine‘s thriller novel “Delicate Condition,” about an up-and-coming actress who believes an evil force is trying to hinder her pregnancy.

Because of Hollywood’s ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, “Delicate” will be divided into two parts, a first for the long-running horror anthology series. Part 1 will debut on September 20, 2023, and Part 2 will air at a later date. Halley Feiffer has taken over as the sole writer and new showrunner, while the various directors include Jessica Yu, Jennifer Lynch and John J. Gray.
