Warning: Spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 2

A deleted scene from the Manifest series finale reveals that Captain Bill Daly was actually killed a second time in the series. As it turns out, the Flight 828 pilot died not once, but twice in season 4. Played by Frank Deal, Daly became one of at least 12 passengers denied a happy ending in Manifest’s final episode.

Although the character was murdered by Angelina, it would have made sense if Daly returned in the Manifest series finale, especially since so many other dead passengers were brought back to life by the timeline reset. However, Daly wasn’t seen or even referenced in the episode. Later, Netflix released a deleted scene that revealed that Daly really was meant to appear. Apparently, Manifest originally intended to show what happened when Vance came onto the plane to investigate the 11 missing passengers.
