Recently, a mysterious image showed up online that seemed to indicate that General Mills would be adding a new cereal to the Monster Cereal line-up that already includes Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, Frute Brute, and Yummy Mummy. Now it’s official: this year, there will be a new Monster Cereal on store shelves! The new cereal is called Carmella Creeper and it’s a green caramel apple-flavored cereal that features purple, pink, orange, and yellow marshmallow pieces. There has been speculation that Carmella Creeper is inspired by the Bride of Frankenstein, and would therefore be the Bride of Franken Berry. General Mills has now confirmed a connection to Franken Berry, but she’s not his Bride. Carmella Creeper is “a Zombie DJ who is a cousin of Franken Berry.
