While Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) is a harsh character on Glee, she softens over time and has a baby between seasons 3 and 4, and her daughter remains a mystery afterward. Sue is the coach of the Cheerios cheerleading team at William McKinley High and becomes the principal in season 5, although she is let go in season 6 for saying that Becky's (Lauren Potter) gun is hers. Sue's pregnancy storyline was surprising as she doesn't appear to like children or teenagers for that matter, as she is cold and demanding toward the students.

Sue shares that she is having a baby in season 3 but although there is a lot of attention paid to this change in her life, the plotline is ignored after a while, leading to questions about what happened to Sue's child. While Glee focuses on Sue's worst actions, the series could have gone into more detail about Sue's new parenthood...
