The first look at Finn Wolfhard's directorial debut, Hell of a Summer, has been revealed, and it looks remarkably like Stranger Things. The actor first gained recognition for his role as Mike Wheeler in Netflix's massively popular series, Stranger Things, and made the transition to film with high-profile roles in It and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Wolfhard is also set to make his feature directorial debut with a horror comedy film titled Hell of a Summer.

Now, the first look at Hell of a Summer has been revealed via Variety.

It's unclear if the resemblance is intentional or not, though the first look photo looks remarkably like Stranger Things, which often sees its young protagonists confronting unknown danger from behind the barrels of their flashlights. One of the first Stranger Things season 4 images showed a very similar sight with the main characters exploring the Creel House. Check out the Hell of a Summer image above.
