The Last of Us Show's High Rotten Tomato Score Breaks Video Game Curse
HBO's The Last of Us earns an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score and breaks the tradition of terrible video game adaptations. The show follows Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they make their way through a chaotic post-apocalyptic world filled with zombie-like creatures. When Joel discovers that Ellie is secretly immune to the virus, he needs to find a way to get her to scientists across the country in the hopes of saving the entire world from devastation. Unfortunately for them both, they encounter many monsters along the way.
Rotten Tomatoes announced on Twitter that The Last of Us scored 100 on the Tomatometer with 26 reviews. As of this writing, the number dropped to 96 on Rotten Tomatoes' official site, but the score is still considerably high.
