Eagle-eyed fans of 1000-Lb Sisters noticed a holiday miracle after Tammy Slaton was spotted without her trach. The Kentucky native has had to fight hard to recover from her near-death experience after her lung collapsed last year. As a new year has just begun, it looks like Tammy is on the upswing and ready to start her healthier life.
Tammy has just been seen without her trach for the first time in months. Thanks to a new TikTok video that showed Tammy singing to Doja Cat, fans noticed her breathing tube had finally been removed and had been replaced with a gauze Band-Aid. After her lung collapsed, surgeons had to make a hole at the front of the neck and windpipe to ensure she could breathe. At the time of her health crisis, doctors feared the 1000-Lb Sisters star might not survive, but Tammy pulled through.
