Gary Oldman Looking Forward To Retirement From Acting, Says ‘Slow Horses’ Role May Be Last
Gary Oldman said he is planning to retire from acting.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, the actor, 64, said he doesn’t plan to be active by the time he’s 80.
“I’ve had an enviable career, but careers wane, and I do have other things that interest me outside of the acting,” he said. “When you’re young you think you’re going to get round to doing all of them – read that book – then the years go by.”

Oldman has seen an extremely successful career for over three decades, renowned for his roles in Sid and Nancy, The Dark Knight, the Harry Potter series and True Romance. He won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for his role as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour.
