Beetlejuice is an annual staple autumn movie staple in most households, and now, more speculation has been sparked about a potential sequel, as there are rumors that Johnny Depp will star in Beetlejuice 2. The follow-up would satisfy so many fans of the original, but as is the case with all great films, the cult classic still has a pocket of armchair critics who couldn't care less about a sequel.
The 1988 film might be one of the most original horror comedies ever made, but some Redditors have been quick to tear the narrative apart. Between arguing that it's no different from any other Tim Burton movie and that it'd be better if Beetlejuice wasn't even in it, not everyone is excited for Beetlejuice 2.
