Red Death, the Arrowverse’s evil Batwoman, is joining The Flash season 9. Set photos from The Flash season 9 confirm that after making a guest appearance in season 8’s “Armageddon” crossover, Batwoman star Javicia Leslie will be back for another stint on The Flash. But instead of simply playing Batwoman, the actress will be bringing a different DC Comics to life on the small screen.

Known as a corrupted, speedster version of Batman from an alternate universe in DC Comics, Red Death is one of only a handful of villains from Flash’s rogues’ gallery that has yet to appear in the Arrowverse.
