Netflix has acquired techno-medieval graphic novel adaptation Nimona and set Chloe Grace Moretz, Riz Ahmed and Eugene Lee Yang to star in the voice cast after the project was shelved when Disney acquired Fox’s entertainment assets and shut down Blue Sky Studios.
Netflix and Annauprna Pictures quietly began production last year and the feature will debut on the platform in 2023.
