Netflix has given fans a plethora of movies and an amount of streaming content that seems almost endless. Over the past couple of years, the streaming platform has broadened its horizons to include movies and K-dramas from South Korea, creating an even bigger fanbase. While certain Korean movies have become cult classics, like Oldboy, there are still plenty more to add to any must-watch list.

There's a bit of everything to explore when it comes to Korean cinema, from cheesy romantic comedies to action-adventures. For fans of something a little more intense, there are plenty of heady psychological thrillers like 2017's Forgotten too. In fact, don't be surprised if some of Netflix's top Korean movies will cause some chills and serious jump scares.
