Mr. Mercedes may have a fourth season after all. The series, which is based on a trilogy of works by Stephen King, has been picked up by Peacock. Seasons one and two will arrive on the streaming service next month while season three will arrive at a later date.

The three seasons of the dramatic series initially aired on AT&T Audience Network. The series has been in limbo since Audience ceased operations in the spring. While Peacock has not renewed Mr. Mercedes for a fourth season, it's favorable that the streaming service has picked up the existing seasons.

Revolving around a retired detective who's plagued by a serial killer, Mr. Mercedes stars Harry Treadway, Brendan Gleeson, Kelly Lynch, Jharrel Jerome, Mary-Louise Parker, Holland Taylor, Justine Lupe, Breeda Wool, Scott Lawrence, Ann Cusack, Jack Huston, Tessa Ferrer, Maximiliano Hernández, and Nancy Travis.
