‘Space Camp’ Remake in Development at Disney+

A remake of the 1980s teen space adventure “Space Camp” is in development at Disney+, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
“Saturday Night Live” writers Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell are writing the script. John Rickard (“Rampage”) is producing.
“Space Camp” followed a group of teenagers who attended an astronaut camp near Cape Canaveral, Florida. When they are sitting in a space shuttle during an engine test, they are accidentally launched into space and they must work together to bring the shuttle back to earth.
