‘Adventure Time’ Creator Sets New Adult Animated Series ‘The Midnight Gospel’ at Netflix
It’s time for a new show from “Adventure Time” creator Pendleton Ward! Netflix has ordered “The Midnight Gospel,” a new adult animated series from Ward and comedian and podcaster Duncan Trussell.
Ward and Trussell will serve as co-creators and executive producers on the show, which follows Clancy, “a spacecaster with a malfunctioning multiverse simulator” who “leaves the comfort of his home to interview beings living in dying worlds,” according to the streaming service.
The eight-episode series is “set in a fantastical universe using interview clips from Duncan Trussell’s podcast, ‘Duncan Trussell Family Hour.”
